Loved my stay here. The facilities are super welcoming and cozy, I felt right at home. The furniture conveys a very traditional and old school feel but that makes the charm of the house. The owner was super friendly and welcoming too. I loved that it wasn't over managed and all the little details made it feel more like staying at a friend's place than in a hostel. There was shampoo, washing machine and dryer with washing powder, coffee/tea, cereals, etc. all open and free to use without complicated regulations. I was lucky enough to have the dorm room all to myself and quickly felt like I'm living in my own holiday home. I don't know about the noise if the hostel is fully booked, as you might hear other people, but that isn't any different in any other stay. The beds are comfy, there were adjustable bed lamps, bedside tables, lockers and enough sockets available. The location is quite central and it's easy to get to every place of interest quickly. Would definitely come here again!

The location was close to Juravinski Cancer Centre and Hospital, which was my requirement. I did find parking on the street just up from the location. The kitchen had everything needed to cook my own dinner and a nice supply of essentials in the fridge, which was bonus. The room itself was very nicely decorated, very clean and comfortable with everything one needs. The common livingroom area is beautiful and I would have enjoyed making use of that space if I was staying more than one night. I enjoyed it very much. Note that the Guest is House is right on the corner and the parking is behind it off the other street which can be busy, so you have to watch for it. Two parking spots on a first-come first-serve basis so you might have to go around the block if you miss it the first time. I simply chose to park on the street.

We traveled for the whole last year and this was the most amazing accommodation we have been to. The house is beautiful, everything is made with love. Our room was really cozy and the bathroom and kitchen were super clean. The kitchen has everything you need and much more. They have a lot free groceries, a good oven, big refrigerator and all kitchen gear you need. For breakfast they offer free cornflakes, milk, and coffee and tea for the whole day. You can also make your laundry for free. And the best of all this is the heart warming owner. He give us a super warm welcome, we felt good from the first moment. We would love to come back. Thank you very much.

I was so glad I stayed in this beautiful welcoming hostel despite of the neighbourhood. The private room I stayed in was clean and very beautiful. The hosts were so warm and welcoming and gives me lots of good suggestions for places to visit. Bathrooms and kitchen are clean and I enjoyed having my meals at the picnic area in their cute fenced backyard. i felt quite safe walking on the street in front of the hostel. I felt so comfortable staying there with connecting with other guests and these amazing hosts and we cannot beat the price for what you get and amazing experience from staying in this beautiful hostel. I will definitely come back here again !
